Rest in Peace, Sally. We love you.

A wonderful woman, a core element of my neighborhood and who was a huge part of my life growing up, passed away in her sleep last night. A gentle way to go, but life just ripped a major chunk out of the fabric of my childhood and the network of caring people that makes that "village" we all depend on. I last saw her on Thursday, and I miss her already. The neighborhood will never be the same.
