A momentary lull
Feb. 7th, 2006 03:43 pmLast week's crunch was pretty hard-core. This week is looking equally busy in most respects, although I'm going to be taking Thursday off from work to spend time with family. I'm holding up well despite the continuing crunch, although I'm short on time to do things like update my blog. I did manage to cook a scrumptious meal from scratch last night, though, to help celebrate getting one of the many due-right-now items out the door.
fisherbear and I enjoyed turkey-bacon wrapped buffalo sirloin steak topped with blue cheese crumbles, allspice-dill green beans, and a baked Yukon Gold potato, not to mention a bottle of Walla Walla syrah. Yum! And all quite healthy, too, as long as you keep the portions of steak and potato reasonable. No limit on the green beans, of course. (We ate them all.)
