Last week's crunch was pretty hard-core. This week is looking equally busy in most respects, although I'm going to be taking Thursday off from work to spend time with family. I'm holding up well despite the continuing crunch, although I'm short on time to do things like update my blog. I did manage to cook a scrumptious meal from scratch last night, though, to help celebrate getting one of the many due-right-now items out the door. [livejournal.com profile] fisherbear and I enjoyed turkey-bacon wrapped buffalo sirloin steak topped with blue cheese crumbles, allspice-dill green beans, and a baked Yukon Gold potato, not to mention a bottle of Walla Walla syrah. Yum! And all quite healthy, too, as long as you keep the portions of steak and potato reasonable. No limit on the green beans, of course. (We ate them all.)

How bizarre

LJ somehow magically edited out the description of what I cooked from the previous entry. Guess it didn't want news of buffalo steak (wrapped in turkey bacon and topped with bleu cheese crumbles) and baked Yukon Gold potatoes and allspice-dill green beans out there on the 'Net. Or maybe it objected to the Walla Walla syrah. Who knows?

But I'm gonna watch to see if it does it again!
