First day of vacation...

...and I have dug out two garden beds, planted 40 daffodil bulbs, 50 tulip bulbs, and 5 different kinds of garlic. I might not have been so ambitious the first day, but today was the only day of dry weather we're predicted to have for quite a while, and the yard really needed some attention.

Maybe tomorrow I'll slack a bit, although there's a lot of laundry that needs doing. :-)

Given that it was your first day back in town AND you'd been up since 2:30 a.m. our time, that's a heck of an accomplishment even if it weren't the tree in question. Yowza!
