Winesap apples and whiskey cheddar
Nov. 24th, 2006 08:12 amI met
sunkrux and
monkeybard for coffee and chat this morning. It was good to get together and catch up on things. While I couldn't fix SunKrux's CD R/W drive problems (no access to the internet for new drivers), I did bring along my portable R/W drive, so she was able to burn the CD she wanted to make. We then wandered up the street to a local Starbuck's for coffee (or in my case, peppermint hot chocolate, one of my favorite of their seasonal treats).
On the way home, monkeybard and I stopped by the local Whole Foods, where I discovered that they had just gotten in a new batch of whiskey cheddar from Ireland (also a seasonal treat). They also had Winesap apples in, so dinner consisted of smoked salmon, cheese, crackers, apples, and veggies, with a nice white wine. Yum!

Date: 2006-11-27 01:33 am (UTC)The CD burner is sorta working now. My friend who installed it came up with a work around. I'm thinking after the first of the year I'll just get a new one.
