"Gee," she thought wistfully as she contemplated vacation's end. "It would be awfully nice if it snowed this weekend, so I could work from home on Monday. Kind of ease back into things, get caught up on email, but still be able to be at home."
Sunday:
"Sure, Mom, you and Dad and Aunt Kathy can come over early for dinner. It sure is snowing out there. It's not sticking yet, but better to be safe than sorry."
Later Sunday:
"That was a great dinner," Dad said. "We hate to eat and run, but we'd better get out of here; it's sticking everywhere."
It's SNOWING!!! :-D It might be all gone tomorrow morning, of course - but right now the prognosis for a snow day tomorrow looks excellent.
