One of the president's favorite tactics for dealing with reality is to deny it, preferably by squelching anything that gets in the way of his fantasy "vision" of how things are. It's one of the many reasons our country is in the mess it's in today - and one of the ways that makes it much harder to put things right again.
Fortunately, the good folks over at TPMMuckraker have decided to start collating and chronicling this administration's multitudionous attempts to rewrite history, classify previously public data that shows them for the incompetent boobs that they are, and underfund/defund important public reports that, y'know, promote accountability.
You owe it to yourself to go take a look. And if you find yourself with a little free time, consider pitching in and doing a little looking around/reporting of your own. This is an ongoing effort.
