Another sign of an overloaded week
Feb. 28th, 2007 11:37 amExcerpt from my morning:
*looks up and sees that it's snowing outside*
"#$#!$@!!! I don't have time for time for it to snow! I have multiple places I have to be and critical errands to run and that's all AFTER I get home from this insane day at work and they'd BETTER not cancel any of the meetings (or if they do do it NOW so I can take advantage of the freed up time). Oh, forget it; I just don't have time for snow today."
*waves hand in laissez-faire gesture at snow*
*snow stops*
Normally I'd be all kinds of delighted that it was snowing. I like to watch the snow fall, and I like working from home. But I have too many critical meetings to work from home tomorrow, much less drop everything and try to get home on the bus before everyone gets snowed in here today. So no on the snow, at least for now. And that's kind of sad.
10-minute-eat-lunch-at-desk over; must dive back into work.
