A lighter walking schedule this week
Mar. 28th, 2005 07:42 amThis week's training schedule is much lighter than the last few weeks; it's one of the "recovery" weeks. It's supposed to help give your muscles and feet a bit of a breather before tackling the next series of challenges. My walking schedule for this week:
...which totals up to just 15 miles minimum for the week. (Heh: the instinctive "just" that I added automatically to the previous sentence makes me chuckle.) That's less than half of what I walked last week. Last week's total came to 31.65 miles, a smidgen more than half the distance I'll need to be able to cover in three days. I'm feeling pretty good about the walk at the moment. And I must admit the recovery week is excellently timed; my husband and I are going out of town for the weekend, so fitting in really long walks would have been a challenge.
Now if I can just finish my fundraising...only $130.00 to go! I've added a link to my donor page on the Links List. I've also added a link to the team page. Only drawback: I hit my links limit, so I had to trim out a few other links for the time being. Hm...must see if I can tweak that parameter to allow me more links!
