Ah, the weekend
Apr. 7th, 2007 10:27 amI made fresh scones, sausages, and a lovely pot of coffee for this morning's breakfast, along with fresh fruit. We've got a lot of nice fresh fruit in right now (so weird to have great pears in season, but hey, it's the right time of year in the southern hemisphere). A very nice treat and a great way to start the day.
It's interesting, because even when I'm on vacation during the work-week, making this kind of breakfast really doesn't occur to me. It's a weekend thing, at least in my head. I wonder why? It has to be more than just an issue of the time required.
