Four years ago, President George W. Bush declared an end to major combat in Iraq.

Since that day there have been 3,212 US military deaths in Iraq and over 23,000 US non-fatal casualties. There have been hundreds of coalition forces casualties. There have been untold thousands of Iraqi civilian deaths, and there are no reliable figures for the number of injuries to the civilian population. President Bush is about to veto the funding legislation for continued money to the US troops because the legislation (approved by the House and Senate) contains target withdrawal dates for our troops.

Four years on, there is no sign of this presidential administration taking any accountability for their actions. As of this morning, exactly ZERO of the major media outlets I read have any of these figures mentioned. In fact, this anniversary is going by largely uncommented-upon by most of the media.

Most, but not all.
