jaunthie | Cranky, cranky, cranky

My product team isn't playing nicely with my team. In fact they're being downright brats - with some cause, I know they're seriously overworked - but still, I've busted ass to haul their kiesters out of the fire before, and it looks like there isn't a smidgen of reciprocal goodwill on their part - no inclination for doing a task they're supposed to do for me (no fires here, just planned event). The least they could do is TRY before telling me they can't be bothered. This makes me VERY cranky.

I suddenly have way too many commitments for this weekend, and no way to meet them all. This makes me VERY cranky.

I'm probably going to have to flatten my test boxes to do a bit of testing that shouldn't require anywhere near that drastic a measure. This makes me...well, not VERY cranky, but it's annoying.

I've got too much work to do and too many trivial-bullshit-paperwork type fires to deal with. This makes me CRANKY.

And it's the bloody full moon today, which means all the dingbats out on the road will be even dingbattier than usual (it's true - you can see the effects in police reports!). Cranky-making.

*sigh*

Oh well. I managed to mitigate the worst of my work-induced bad mood yesterday evening by doing some weeding and planting a flat of pansies and a half-flat of petunias in the yard - and by getting lots of hugs from

fisherbear. And it's rainy and cool today, which will help all the new plantings. That's good. And I have photographs to show at photo group tonight, which is also good. I'll get by.

...but boy oh boy am I not motivated for work today. Meh.

Here's hoping today goes better than yesterday.
