My husband and I have been enjoying the Rose City the last few days. The Pre-Raphaelite exhibit is spectacular; the photo galleries have mostly had very interesting stuff, and there's been lots of excellent food. The only thing that has been in short supply is free access to the Internet. Fortunately, we found a nice local coffeehouse this morning that provides open access, as well as playing some great old (I mean really old) blues. I'm sitting here on a leather couch, typing and sipping a really good hot mocha and wishing vacations didn't have to end. We're particularly gypped this time in that today is daylight savings, so we lost an hour. Oh well - it's been a great trip.

What coffee shop? And where are you staying?

We stayed at the Hotel Vintage, which turns out to be right next door to the Hotel Lucia (our hotel for our last trip). We were having coffee at Portland Coffee at the time of the post - nary a Starbucks did we visit the entire trip. Portland has a lot of neat coffeehouses!

Portland Coffee? Hmm... Even I might be able to remember that for the next time I'm there. Did you hit The Bookstore?
