fisherbear, Ryalin and I went back to Folklife this afternoon, after attending Shakespeare's Den and Shakespeare's Lady's lovely Memorial Day barbeque party. Unlike yesterday, the weather today was warm and sunny. And unlike yesterday, the jugglers were back, there were street performers every which way you looked, and there were half-a-dozen impromptu drummers thumping away in various corners of the festival. Still sucks that the festival organizers have forbidden the big drum circle, but it's good to know that the rest of the festival is more or less as usual...at least when the sun is out.

Any sense for why the big drum circle was banished? Was it interfering too much with the other performances?
