Jam time

Ryalin went home yesterday (WAH!!!), on a day that broke all previous records for high temperatures on this day in the area. Today was nearly as warm. Not surprisingly, this has precipitated an early bloom on my roses. The roses are mostly blooming like mad at the moment, which means I needed to take time to make a batch of rose-petal jam while the ingredients are at their peak. I made and jarred a double batch tonight, and I might do it again this weekend. I'm wondering what the result would be if I added cinnamon and saffron to a batch, or maybe just a jar...hm. Well worth thinking on.
