jaunthie | One of those days

Today was a nonstop fire drill at work. One of those days where there's an insane amount of work to get done, you're being contacted by multiple people all needing yet more things from you, and nobody listens when you tell them no, you're already overwhelmed. Fortunately, I was able to get done what absolutely had to be done, thanks in no small part to my fantastic editor and help from several of my teammates. But now I've got a splitting headache, absolutely no desire to interact with people (or at least not more than one person at a time)...and I have a reception to attend in an hour. Bleh.

I need painkillers. Or a winning lottery ticket. Or both.
