A refreshing treat for the heat wave
Jul. 10th, 2007 08:56 amTake a scoop of your favorite fruit sorbet (we like lemon) and place it in a glass. Pour unsweetened sparkling water (we like the lemon-lime flavor for this) or diet tonic water over the sorbet. Eat as you would a root-beer float, and enjoy! It's quite lovely, much less sweet/sticky than the traditional ice-cream floats but still a very tasty treat, and does a wonderful job of refreshing you without blowing you daily calorie count.
