Ugh

Dunno what caused it. I never really know what causes it, although it does seem to be somewhat related to big weather-system changes. I'm really grateful for the rain and cool temperatures today, but MAN was I flattened by a mondo headache yesterday. I was pretty much completely nonfunctional, in the stay-at-home, stay-in-bed-most-of-the-day, take-the-drugs-and-try-to-sleep kind of way. Ugh. Ow. Bleh!

Today I am functional, which is a heck of a lot better than I was yesterday, but I still am a looooooooooooong way from "good". Oog.

On the plus side, I had one of those "hey, the universe really is a small place!" fun kinds of moments this morning. It turns out that one of my work acquaintances is not only a native local (rare these days), but she went to the same high school I did (different years) - and that I was friends with her older sibling for two years in elementary school. Yeah, the universe really is that small. :-)
