As some of you might recall, I walked in the Seattle 2005 Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk For the Cure. (In fact, I started this journal as part of the preparation for that event.) It was a wonderful experience for a fabulous cause, well worth the sacrifice of time, money, and some skin off of my feet and wear-and-tear on some previously-damaged ligaments. My walking partner in Team Eccentrica for the event was Margaret, who'd already done it once before.
And now she's doing it again.
That's right, Margaret is three-peating. And she has to raise the $2,200.00 in donations required to participate. So if you're interested in supporting her in a fantastic cause, click here. Or click the topmost link in my Links list. Or click her name earlier in this post. And if you're in the area on the dates in question, consider going out and cheering her and the other walkers on. It's quite the spectacle.
Good luck, lady! :-)

Awww!
Date: 2007-08-09 11:54 pm (UTC)As soon as I've got the list of the cheering stations I'll pass them around. Squirt bottles, super soakers or just plain presence is always appreciated (as you well know).
Andrew's designing me a really cool shirt (SNERK!)
