A lovely weekend

jaunthieI had a busy but very good weekend once it got underway (I had to work late on Friday).

fisherbear, MamaBear, BigBadWolf and I went to see monkeybard in Richard III. If you haven't been yet, hurry it up already; it's a great show, and there are only two performances left. We were lucky enough to meet up with NordicBoy in the audience - an extra bonus. After the show, we had a lovely seasonal supper of salmon, majudarah, swiss chard, corn, and homemade grapefruit sorbet - yum!!! Fisherbear and I rounded out the day by starting to watch episodes from the second season of The Muppet Show - always fun, although I'd forgotten how utterly awful the Zero Mostel episode was.
Sundayceekayeff and I went downtown for massages, then met up with fisherbear and BigBadWolf for lunch at the market. We spent a good deal of time shopping in the market after lunch (peaches! spices! corn! fish! organic market sundays!) and returned home laden with goodies. I cooked a yummy seasonal supper for fisherbear and myself, and we finished out the day with more Muppetage between bouts of laundry.
All in all, a most excellent weekend. Now back to the slog...
