Murphy's Law, Day 2:


Gee, yesterday's huge problem is still a problem this morning, despite reassurances that it would be fixed by EOD. Quelle surprise! And naturally the people who need to fix this probably won't respond for hours yet. (Edited to add: Well I'll be damned. One of them appears to actually be responding in something close to reasonable time. Not with a fix, mind you, but at least acknowledging that we're still in the weeds, and that it's their issue to fix. Maybe there's hope yet.)

On the up side, I'm getting a lot of other much-needed work done. And I'm entertaining myself with thinking up appropriate karmic curses for the persons responsible for the current disaster.


This calls for something really silly. I recommend checking out Uncle Andrew's latest Food Fright. Talk about a marketing goof!

Well at least you're keeping yourself occupied. ;) Sorry to hear that people are being buttheads, but it sounds like at least one is starting to see the light between the cheeks, so to speak. (Dear me, that's a terrible warping of a standard cliché. Sorry for that!)

If it'll help I could kidnap you for lunch tomorrow (Thursday). I need to go to LUSH anyway, and I can do that on either side of the lake. Just let me know if you think it's feasible. :)
