Thanks to Ryalin, I had a chance to see Within Temptation when they were in town this spring with Lacuna Coil. It was a most excellent show, and I'm really enjoying WT's most recent album, The Heart of Everything. I had heard that Within Temptation were going to headline their own tour later this year in the States, and I'd hoped that one of their scheduled venues would be here or somewhere nearby. Unfortunately, looks like the closest they're going to get is Los Angeles and Denver. Dangit!

Oh well. Guess I'll have to wait until the next tour, unless of course I win the lottery. ;-)

I, like you, was also excited about another potential concert. When I saw that they were going to be in L.A., I was ready to buy tickets. Turns out, however, that the concert is on Yom Kippur. Though I pretend to be Jewish only 2 times/year, Yom Kippur remains to big a deal to ditch for an L.A. roadtrip.

Guess I'll be waiting for the next one with you...

Oh, ouch!!! That's just...grr. Talk about bad timing for the concert. That's it; they just need to come back to town next spring, preferably at the Moore. That'd totally kick ass.
