So I know I have somewhat eclectic music listening habits. Nothing too unusual in that. I know that I'm feeling stressed, however, when I stop listening to the Internet feed of KingFM at work and start listening to various iPod mixes instead. Which mix depends a lot on my mood (and how much I'm caring about work-appropriate). I was amused to note the first baker's dozen artists in my current mix:

  1. Mozart

  2. Crossfade

  3. John Cougar Mellencamp

  4. Die Mannequin

  5. Plumb

  6. Within Temptation

  7. KT Tunstall

  8. Alanna Myles

  9. Breaking Benjamin

  10. Blue Oyster Cult

  11. Christina Aguilera

  12. Evans Blue

  13. Dixie Chicks

Anyone want to try and interpret *that* mess?

And of course it gets funnier when you realize I have the current mix on random play...

Interesting mix. :D

Who knew you liked the Dixie Chicks. I never did. Cool.

Yup, I've liked them for years - ever since "Sin Wagon" almost made me fall off my bike laughing in a trial spinning class. The spinning didn't really appeal to me, but the Chicks did. Wish I could find a copy of "Thank Heaven for Dale Evans" somewhere; I'd love to hear some of their early stuff. But that's a definite hard-to-find item.

Dude!

Looks like my walking music compillation which starts with Abba and progresses to the 1812 Overture then Aretha Franklin, Gloria Gaynor, and They Might Be Giants.
