jaunthieI'm tired today, but I managed to get a fair bit done anyways. The garlic harvest was way overdue - I should have harvested it three weeks ago - so I went out first thing this morning and dug up what I could. Enough cloves escaped that I probably won't have to worry about buying more garlic to plant for next year, but I think what I did harvest will still cure well enough to keep me supplied this winter. We'll see. If nothing else, I'll make a bunch of garlic soup and roast some cloves for freezing.
Today was also the "free sale" part of the garage sale epic. We didn't have much to do with it, but![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
fisherbear and I did go over afterwards to help load up the stuff that didn't "sell" and take it down to Value Village. Gods bless Value Village - they took *everything* we had in our car, even the old kitchen table. They didn't take quite everything in ceekayeff's van, but 95% of it, and that's a heck of a lot better than it would have been otherwise.
Still some more chores to do, but for now, I think it's time to heat up some Indian leftovers and knock off for a while. Why can't weekends be longer?
