Not a great way to start the morning
Oct. 5th, 2007 09:33 amActually, I usually have pretty good luck with helpdesk folks, once I'm able to convince them that yes, they're talking with an end-user who actually does have a functional IQ and (in this case) a better-than-usual understanding of the underlying mechanics. Not this guy this morning, though. Very condescending, and very defensive every time he asked me to do something that wasn't an option on my system. Sigh.
And the problem still isn't resolved. At least it's an unusual and somewhat interesting case.
