Or at least so I intuit from the person who asked me "So, have you decided yet whether you're going to do NaNoWriMo? You never said anything more about it in your journal..."

Ahem. Everyone, may I have your attention, please?

Yes, I am doing NaNoWriMo this year. I have committed to writing a novel in the month of November, a novel that will be at least 50,000 words long.

Like all other NaNoWriMo participants, I can't start writing actual words on this until November 1, 2007. But yes, I'm doing prep work. And yes, I'm probably certifiable. But that last sentence really isn't news.

Woot! I'll take you up on that. Perhaps on Thursdays...I'm seriously contemplating taking Thursdays in NOV off to be concentrated-writing days. Them and weekends, of course...everything else will have to be catch-as-catch can, probably.

I'm sure Jake has an old picture of me around somewhere. It *might* even be old enough for that. ;-) And hey, this is only 1,667 words a day for 30 days, give or take a few words. Compared to training for the 3-Day, and then walking 20 miles a day for 3 days...well, we'll see.
