So I went on a great walk with GPSMan this morning. We didn't have a lot of time so we really pushed the pace. We dashed a twisty, dog-leg, "ant wandering all over the place" (GPSMan's description) course. Upon getting back, I realized that Mirkwood had only recorded 6 minutes or so of our walk, thanks to the fact that I neglected to put in fresh batteries as I had been intending to do all week. So I have no real idea of how far we walked or how fast our pace was, beyond a general comparison to previous courses. I'm guessing that we went at least 3 miles, and that our pace was well over 4 miles an hour - but it's just an educated guess.
