I can see where this might be a problem
Nov. 6th, 2007 12:36 amI should have seen this coming. I'm determined to get at least the minimum requirement of 1,667 words per day in during NaNo. Okay, no big deal - I've done it and to spare all but one day so far - but I'd managed to forget how easy it is for me to get on a roll late at night. Those of you who think I'm a morning person have never seen me on a creative writing kick; I definitely have night-owl writer leanings.
And so now it's 12:30, I've got 1,761 words in for the day, I'm wide awake and wanting to keep on going, and my alarm clock will be going off in under five hours.
I think I'm going to have to keep a better leash on my nocturnal writing tendencies and a firmer grip on reasonable bedtime hours if I'm going to survive this month.
