The clouds came in for a visit this morning

They didn't stay long, but it was nice and cloudy, with a good bit of mist, when jenboo and I went for our walk this morning. We had a nice jaunt from my house to the local walking trail. The trail itself was pretty quiet, with only the occasional jogger or cycling cluster whizzing by. Near the end of our walk we stopped long enough to get coffee (yum!) and do a bit of shopping at the local grocery before heading on back to the house. She was even brave enough to come in for tea and suffer through entirely too many pictures of cacti...not that she's likely to make that mistake again. ;) All in all a delightful morning. :D

The sun has finally come out, and I've got a lot of gardening to catch up on. The unseasonable weather has the weeds going full bore, and I have a lot of work to do in order to catch up. Plus I need to get some of the plants I purchased last week into the ground already!

Not sure what JAunthie is/means, but hopefully it is my sister. Wanted to let you know that I am enjoying your blog and am nothing short of inspired by your hard work and dedication. Makes me want to get out of bed and go for a walk...well, sort of. Anyway your entries are wonderful and I will do my best to keep up with them. Keep on trekkin'!
