Do you hear the sound of bird nookie?

It was an utterly gorgeous walk home last night, a great way to finish up getting my 5.03 miles. The sun was shining, the air was heavily scented with the fragrance of lilacs and cherry blossoms, and the birds were positively cacophonous. Seriously, there were so many of them, singing so loudly, that they were drowning out the car-traffic noise.

Yup, it's definitely spring.

We have returned safely and I just caught up on the last 10 days of your journal. I'm always impressed by the variety of your musings, and music. The writing isn't too shabby either. I know you write for a living but you do have a gift with words. Visiting L&T was a pleasant adventure and we do have some pictures to share. That cake sounded great!!! ckf
