The big-group photography meeting was last night. After the meeting, which had to be one of the shortest on record for this group, everyone walked on over to the gallery to look at the three shows currently up - my "Too Close for Comfort" being one of them. Reactions were mainly positive, which was doubly nice considering that I was pretty sure my show wouldn't go over very well. I also got some interesting suggestions on further things to try with Find the Face. All in all, it was a nice boost to my artistic side.

I still don't like hanging around trying to observe people looking at my work, though. I don't think there's any comfortable way to do that - or if there is, I haven't figured it out.

Meh - it's a photographers' group; that's what they're there for. I'm a firm believer in parking my butt next to the prints and fishing for comments, if trawling doesn't work. It usually does, though - the best way I know to get five opinions is to give four f/5.6'ers a chance to sound off.
