jaunthieBetween dealing with the vandals stealing the stop sign on the corner last night (called it in), dealing with the teenaged male twits who thought it would be "funny" to put the giant wooden post out into the intersection (ran them down and read them the riot act), and general annoyances of biology, this has *not* been a good day. Nor has it been the productive day I needed it to be. It has, in fact, been a curl-up-on-the-couch-with-a-heating-pad kind of day, surfing the Web and trying to distract myself.
Fortunately, I discovered a whole smegging ton of really good ballet clips on YouTube. It figures that ballet being the visual medium it is, there would be clips - and from the comments, there are a lot of dancers out there using YouTube as a resource for learning their craft (or maybe they're just a bunch of wannabe posers, but still, reading the comments about performing these bits of choreography and what the steps are and how *did* the dancers manage this effect or that is all fascinating stuff).
And then there are clips like this one, which make me laugh even when the day sucks:
