The Good: There's nothing like a deadline to concentrate your thoughts and get you in gear. They are a useful organizational tool, and invaluable if you have a tendency to procrastinate.
The Bad: Even though I find deadlines useful in helping me get things done, I still dislike them - particularly when they compete with other events and/or deadlines.
The Ugly: When people stop trying to communicate with you or ask you to participate in things because they think you're too busy. Which I might be, but honestly, folks, it's just a job at the end of the day. Friends and family are much more important in the grand scheme of things.
With that being said, I really do need to get back to work. 2 more days to deadline...and I'd like to finish by noon on Friday if at all possible. I have many other things I'd like to do with my weekend!
