What is this odd sensation?
Aug. 16th, 2009 04:07 pmBetween deadlines, social events, family happenings, chores, and other incidents, I've been racing around like a chicken with my head cut off for quite a while now. How long it's hard to say, but I'm fairly certain it's been weeks, if not months.
And now, this afternoon, I am sitting comfortably with my computer, checking in online for the first time since Friday, because I haven't had time to even touch my computer since Friday afternoon (it's been a busy but fun weekend), and...
...there's nothing pressing for me to do in the next few hours.
Oh, sure, there's things I *could* be doing. Laundry. Dinner prep. Writing. Yet more chores.
But there's nothing that absolutely needs doing. And it's quiet and peaceful and a sunny but not too hot summer afternoon.
I think I shall chill for the next little while, just because.
