My Icon

I've been asked what my icon picture is by a few folks. It's a photograph of a watercolor painting Will and I bought in SD that hangs on our living-room wall. The name of the artist is Claudia Nery, and the title of the painting is Seamask. Ms. Nery is a Mexican artist (see this link for more information). The little icon picture here doesn't come close to doing her work justice. Not only did she get those amazingly vivid colors out of watercolor, but she etches these amazing designs right into the fiberboard of the paintings...it's really amazingly beautiful stuff.

I'm pretty darn busy this week, between transitioning in my workplace and a lot of meetings and extracurricular (? or should I say "real-life"?) activities planned, but I'll try to keep updating as usual even if it's only briefly. Among other things, I'll post my walk schedule and totals for the coming week once I get home to my planner. The days are the same (Tues/Thurs/Sat/Sun), but the minimum distances are a little longer. Stay tuned for more details!

Because I can ::evil grin::
