I'm getting too old for this

Oy. Another major deadline at work today, among all the other things going on. Well, technically my deadline was last Thursday; my editor's deadline was today. However, given the way that we work, her deadline is also my deadline, and the absolute last thing I want is to be the person who keeps her late/slammed/working insane hours because I don't do my part in helping make deadline.

So we made it, and it's not even midnight. I guess we're either getting better at this, or we just realized the impossibility of going any further. But honestly, this one felt harder than most. Yes, some of it is undoubtedly everything else that's been going on, but I also think that I'm just getting older. And maybe the deadlines are getting crazier. Or something.

Anyway, time to collapse.

Yeah, this one was worse. Case in point: *Peter* was still handing off stuff on the day before EOOF.
