Sanity is not my strong suit
Oct. 11th, 2009 11:56 amIt's a lovely Sunday outside. I've been too busy with work and J to do much with the yard lately. I've been tired, and stressed, and I've had no free time at all. I told myself a while ago that it was okay if I didn't do any fall planting this year.
It's been a very busy day already, and it's not yet noon. I stayed up late last night making pumpkin bread, got up early this morning, went to spin class, picked up costumes from
monkeybard for my sister to try on for Halloween, went for coffee and brunch with
fisherbear, delivered said costumes, gave my mom some advice on her garden, and just made it back home. I have dishes to do, laundry to cycle, and potato-leek soup to make for supper, not to mention a sick kitty to spoil and a sock to finish turning the heel on and work to do before Monday morning and and and. I'm still sore and tired from the very good workout this morning.
And it's a lovely Sunday outside, and I'm going to go work in my garden, turn over that one veggie bed, and do some fall planting. Maybe even make a trip to the local plant nursery.
I am completely certifiable.
