NaNoWriMo is kicking my butt

Okay, so maybe it's work and life and sick cat and too many balls in the air that is kicking my butt, and so I'm not performing very well in NaNo right now. I'm still on a par with where I should be in order to "win," word-count wise, but it's a very near thing, and I'm already exhausted. Gah.

So there's a ton going on, and has been going on, and I have no time to update right now. So instead I'm going to fall back on that time-honored tradition of sharing something really nifty. Bonus: provides perspective.

AWWWW that vid is so awesome and wonderful. I kinda remember what it was like missing my dad for so long when he was still in the Navy before we moved to GA after he retired when I was 8.
