Manic Monday

jaunthie3 days to deadline. Including today. GAH.
This weekend was (what else?) very busy, with lots of housework and yardwork and a decent bit of exercise and not much cooking at ALL, which will bite me in the butt later in the week when I'm too busy to cook and there aren't any leftovers to take for lunch. Oh well. Perhaps I'll manage to cook something in the next day or so.
I did NOT get enough work-work done this weekend, which is stupid but true. I did some, but nowhere near the amount I had intended. I got exactly ZERO amount of work done on my own writing, photography, or any other creative endeavor that isn't related to the garden. ARGH. And I have a photo-show deadline approaching on rapid, thundering feet. YIPES!
But on the plus side, much gardenwork happened, many cold and warm starts are starting (hopefully), Jake and I carved out the sod from the three places where the new raised beds will go, MamaBear came by for a visit and some garden-fix and weeded out one of my back beds, and the yard overall isn't looking too bad, considering.

monkeybard invited fisherbear and me over for dessert on Saturday night. We had a lovely time chatting with her and NordicBoy while enjoying tofu chocolate mousse (no, really, it's delicious, trust me!) and a nice dessert wine (muscato). I need to make time to reciprocate, particularly since the kittens are now catlings and NordicBoy hasn't seen them since they were kittens.
I'd post pictures of the catlings, but I haven't had any time to take any pictures of them, either.
I need a time machine.
