It's the exercise, stupid.
Sep. 19th, 2010 11:50 amFinding time for everything I want/need to do is always a challenge. It's a balancing act, in fact; I do more of this, I wind up doing less of that; I put something in the top-priority category, and something else goes into do-it-later. This is, of course, nothing particularly new or different; everyone does this.
But of late, I've put a little too much exercise in the lower-priority bucket, and I need to turn that around. I'm only making it to the gym 2-3 times a week, and my body really needs more than that. Yes, I walk pretty much daily, and there's all the usual house and gardening chores. Unfortunately, I've got quite a bit of evidence that my body really is designed to all-active, all-the-time as the optimum, which just isn't possible with my professional life (which consists of lots of sitting on my butt in front of computers). So I need to MAKE myself make the time to get more activity in, or my overall health suffers.
Sigh.
Anyone have a spare time machine handy?
