Rankin-Bass Gingerbread 2010
Dec. 13th, 2010 07:04 pmThis Sunday was the annual Rankin-Bass Gingerbread party. I hosted at my place this year, and we had quite the turnout. There were probably more than thirty people in the house at one point, which is a gigantic crowd by my standards. (
monkeybard knows a lot more people than I do.)
Anyhow, people came, people watched Rankin-Bass claymation specials, and people decorated lots of gingerbread. And I think people had a good time, too.
Of course, this being us, the gingerbread decoration wasn't exactly standard...

Nessie came to the party:

Some sacred cows were upheld:

Some cookies found themselves in sticky situations:

And then there was the beaver lodge...

I really only throw two parties annually, and sometimes I get confused:

Canadians represent:

Also salmon fisherfolk:

The sacred cow was butchered, of course:

Rudolph turned out to be a giraffe, and the reindeer games turned fatal:

The end, indeed.
Thanks to everyone who attended and helped make R-B GB 2010 a success!
