Gardening addendum

I know I'm late planting my peas. But I wasn't sure just *how* late I was. So I decided to glance back at this journal from last spring.

I had pea shoots coming up out of the ground on February 28th of last year.

It is April 18th and I haven't even planted any peas yet.

*wails*

Granted, the weather this spring isn't anything like the weather last spring. It's been VERY cold and VERY wet. But still...

*wails and gnashes teeth*

I have *got* to get off my duff and get going in the garden, weather be damned!

*sigh* me neither. It's been so wet I've been afraid to go mucking into the back yard for fear I'll get bogged down. (OK, slight exaggeration but not by much) The soil test kit is still sitting on the counter waiting for me to get out there and figure out what went wrong last year.

(On the bright side, the flower garden in the (drier, better drained) front yard is getting a lot more attention this spring than it usually does!)
