Remember the irises I mentioned the other day?

I've got more irises blooming now, and they're all the purple I expected. A lovely blue-purple, with white throats and lovely lavender stamens. Really gorgeous, and I'll have to try and get a decent picture of them.

And the classic blue-purple doesn't exactly go with the mutant sport iris that's blooming in shades of burgundy and bronze and orange, but I don't care. She's lovely, too, and I hope she reproduces like mad.



I do so love it when my garden surprises me!
