A lovely Turkey Day

I had a very nice Thanksgiving with fisherbear, MamaBear, hiker_chick, and tangerinpenguin, and a great 4-day weekend. I could get very used to 4-day weekends very, very easily. Enough time to do chores and relax? Oh yeah, sign me up. We should have at least one of those every quarter - and a 3-day weekend every month.

Have I mentioned lately that you rock? A fully satisfying Thanksgiving dinner (with dessert!) and I *still* had a good weigh-in on Sunday. On what dark magicks did you call, m'dear?

Heh - it was your self control and portion control as much as anything, of course. But I do admit that I've learned a trick or two about yummy and tasty healthy cooking over the years. I can go into specifics if you want any details about the recipes, but by and large it's the "not eating yourself into a coma" control that's the real win.
