Mmm...Shamiana

An unexpected set of circumstances revolving around sunkrux's car, Roxton, resulted in finding myself with fisherbear and SunKrux on the East side in the middle of crazy traffic time. Hungry and chilled, we were not in any shape to deal with the traffic. Fortunately I was able to find a really yummy Indian restaurant, just going on an old visual memory (I'd seen this location once before). It was doubly nice because they used to have a second Shamiana right near where we live, but they closed that one over a year ago. The three of us had a nice dinner in good company, were able to indulge in some of our favorite remembered dishes, and we've got leftovers for lunch tomorrow, too.

We definitely should! I didn't realize you lived so close to Shamiana; I'm really no good with east side geography. You'd think I'd've had enough practice by now...but commuting to and from work doesn't do much in the general expand-eastside-area-knowledge sense.
