Green Christmas, indeed

As of 7 a.m., it was 56 degrees and pouring buckets of rain. This is what's known locally as "the Pineapple Express", when the jet stream brings us warm temperatures and lots of moisture straight from Hawaii. Quite a contrast from last week's temperatures (in the 20's), and it means a very green Christmas. Which is absolutely normal and welcome here. :-)
