Another early Christmas present
Dec. 22nd, 2005 08:44 amThis one is courtesy of Bush-appointed US District Judge John Jones, providing a wonderful example of a man of faith and conscience and sound legal reasoning. His pithy and highly readable ruling that a Pennsylvaia school district's mandate to teach intelligent design and denigrate evolutionary theory violates the establishment clause of the first amendment and is therefore unconstitutional is a stinging rebuke to the hypocritical evangelicals trying to replace science with religion-dressed-up-in-scientific-language. Kudoes to Judge Jones, as a judge and as a Christian.
