jaunthie | Just the ticket for a chilly day when you're feeling tired

fisherbear and I had lunch together today on the west side of the duck pond (yes, we're working today, but it's a long story). We wound up going to Thai One On. I highly recommend the Five-Spice Duck Noodle Soup, three stars - spicy enough to clear your sinuses, get your endorphins going, and warm you up all over, without being so spicy that it interferes with the flavor of the exquisite broth, the noodles, the bean sprouts, or the duck. Yummy, and as a lunch special, quite reasonably priced!
