fisherbear and I upgraded our old exercise cycle for a recumbent bike this winter. Just in case you were wondering, I love the new bike. It's easy to use, very quiet, has all kinds of nifty whistles and bells, and extremely stable. I can read a book while working out, no problem - or watch a DVD, which is what I've been doing recently. Working out to an episode or two of
Xena, Warrior Princess is a hoot. I'm enjoying it so much, in fact, that I'm rather disappointed that I won't be able to work out tonight, even though I'm looking forward to the photo meeting.
Now
that's the sign of an effectively fun workout program.
