Date: 2006-01-26 11:24 pm (UTC)Of course, as a former Pennsylvanian, I'm getting a great deal of amusement from watching Santorum trying unsuccessfully to shed his "K Street" associations now that they've become radioactive. Of course, Santorum is political toast at this point anyway - Casey's set to steamroller him in the '06 election - but watching one of the most unrepentently fierce "attack dogs" of the Republican right try and dance his way toward the middle now that it's no longer "cool" in an attempt to fight the inevitable is very satisfying.
