Living where I do, I am fortunate to have a great deal of choice for Olympics coverage. I can watch one of the many NBC-owned affiliate channels (if they should be actually broadcasting sports coverage instead of human-interest stories or re-runs of old dramas). Or if I'm tired of the NBC hype, I can tune into CBC and watch the Canadian coverage. While NBC has improved vastly, the Canadians have two undeniable advantages:
That being said, it's pretty damn cool to turn on tv to check the weather reports at 6 this morning (we had a bit of snow today) and see curling on USA. I wish all the channels were a little more faithful about broadcasting in real time, or at least not tape-delaying as much as they are.

- Their evening coverage starts at 6 p.m. and is usually wrapping up by 10:30 p.m., and
- Brian Williams (yes, the CBC anchor has the same name as the NBC anchor, which is why I can never remember his name right)* has more class in his little finger than Bob Costas has in his entire body.
